The United Nations has said that one-and-half people in Yemen suffer from hunger and malnutrition.

Liz Grand, coordinator of the humanitarian affairs of the League of Nations in Yemen, described the human condition of this country as tragic and said that at present, more than eight million people are victims of hunger in Yemen while more than 7 million people are suffering from malnutrition. He has said that the time has come that the world should stand with the people of Yemen and show solidarity with them. Liz Grand, co-ordinator of the United Nations Human Rights Commission in Yemen, in a similar manner, has strongly condemned the attack of Saudi Arabia on Thursday by Yemeni students and said that what happened in the city of Zahyan is extremely brutal and unacceptable.

It was known that on Thursday, Saudi warrior planes attacked a bus of students in Zahyan city of plain province of Yemen, where 55 children were killed and 80 injured. Saudi Arabia launched military attacks on Yemen in March 2015, with the help of the United States, United Arab Emirates and many other countries, so far more than 14 thousand people have been killed.
