New Delhi: People fleeing after attacks on North Indians about alleged rape with a 14-month-old girl in Sabarkantha district is on. The state government has appealed to the people fleeing the return. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani appealed to people not to be involved in violence. In the case of attack and intimidation of North Indians, 431 people have been arrested so far. Along with this, a total of 57 cases have been registered.
In the districts which recorded the highest number of cases, 17 cases were filed in Mahesana, 11 in Sabarkantha and 12 in Ahmedabad. Chief Minister Rupani claimed that there was no untoward incident in the last 48 hours. He said that the police has overcome the situation. Meanwhile, Chief Ministers of UP and Bihar Yogi Adityanath and Nitish Kumar and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan spoke with the word and expressed concern about the attacks.
