India welcomes exemption from anti-Iran sanctions

India’s Petroleum Minister has said that exemption from anti-Iran sanctions is in the interest of all Iranians including India.

Dharmendra Pradhan said that India did not accept the American urges to buy oil from Iran. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also warned many times in international institutions that if Iran’s oil is banned, the prices of oil will increase and it will have negative impact on the economy of the countries.

 

Be aware that American President Donald Trump had announced on May 8 after leaving the nuclear deal that Iran’s oil exports will be banned after November 4 and restrictions should be imposed on countries that buy oil. It is in such a situation that American Foreign Minister Mike Pompey has announced that eight countries including India, China and Japan have been exempted from sanctions against Iran and they can buy oil from Iran but they have bought oil from Iran The quantity of this will be reduced.
