At least 26 people have been reported in the blast in a mosque located in southeast Afghanistan.
According to officials of the Afghan government, the blast happened on Friday afternoon in the mosque in a camp located in the Afghan army, in the secret province, when large numbers of people had gathered in the mosque to read Jumay’s prayers. The explosion was so powerful that the mosque’s roof and walls fell. The local administration has confirmed the killing of 26 people so far in this blast.
According to reports from the local media, the blast in the mosque was done at that time people were offering prayers for jumea. In this terrible explosion, 76 people have been injured, many of them are reported to be critically injured due to which the number of deaths is likely to increase.
It is noteworthy that no terrorist group has yet accepted the responsibility of the blast.
Be aware that on November 21, at least 50 people were killed in a suicide attack on the meeting of religious leaders on the occasion of Ida Meeluddinabi in Kabul, Afghanistan’s capital Kabul. More than 80 people were injured in this blast.
