Kartarpur: Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has laid the foundation stone of Kartarpur Corridor in his country. After this foundation stone, Navjot Singh Sidhu tied the bridge of Imran’s praises. Siddhu said that the government of India and Imran Khan did virtuous work. He said, “Thank you to my man, Dildar Imran Khan.” Do not add this step to terrorism and politics. Imran Khan’s name will be on the first page of Kartarpur’s history. Sidhu said that the suspicions will be overcome when the contact grows. As long as there is blood in the bloodstream, I will thank the two governments.
On the occasion of the shilanyas, Minister of State for External Affairs Harsimrat Kaur, HS Puri and Punjab Cabinet Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu were present. The Punjab Government minister, Congress leader and former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu took the initiative for this path. This corridor will open before November next year. A 4.5 kilometer long road will be constructed in Gurdaspur, Punjab, which will connect to Pakistan.
Why is Kartarpur Sahib special?
Kartarpur Sahib situated in the Narowal district of Pakistan is the holy shrine of the Gurudwara Sikh community. Gurunanak Dev ji, the first Guru of the Sikhs, lived here for the last 18 years of life. Nankadev ji died in Kartarpur only.
This was the beginning of the anchor at first. Nankdev ji gave a lesson to ‘Naam Japa, Kirat and Vand Chhko’. Kartarpur Sahib Gurudwara is just four kilometers away from Dera Sahib on the Indian border in Gurudaspur.
What will be the benefit of becoming a Shatapur corridor?
The establishment of the Shatapur corridor will end the waiting period of the 70 years of the Sikhs. Crores of Indian Sikhs will be able to see the mausoleum of Guru Nanak. Sikh devotees will get entry in Pakistan without visa, only will have to take the ticket. The opening of the corridor will increase the trust between India and Pakistan.
