Qatar has proposed to build an airport in the Gaza Strip area of Palestine, which has been beaten by the Israeli siege for the last 10 years.
Mohammad al-Imadi, the ambassador of Qatar in Ghazza, says that according to the plan, after the airport construction, the aircraft will fly between Doha and Gaza and after Doha they will be able to fly to any place in the world.
Imadi said that we have put this proposal in front of the Israeli authorities. However, he said that so far the Zaani officials have not responded to this.
According to sources, in place of airport construction in Gaza, Israel has offered Qatar to build an airport in some of its occupied territories.
According to Imadi, implementation of airport construction in Ghazza is possible. However, it is necessary for a government to exist in Gaza.
It is notable that in 1998, the Yasir Arifat Airport was inaugurated in the Rafah area of Gaza, but in 2001, Israeli warplanes bombarded and destroyed them, since then they are in the same condition as well.
Meanwhile, the number of Palestinian refugees living in Lebanon has increased in Europe.
