The Revenue Council has completed the purchase of smartphones for writers and revenue inspectors. Despite having a budget, the job of giving smartphones to the writers was for three years. Time has been sought from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the distribution of the smartphone distribution function.
The state government had arranged a budget of Rs 20 crores to give smartphones to the accountants in 2015-16. But between the Revenue Council and the Government, the file of smartphone purchases continued and the procurement failed.
After two years passed in the SP regime, one year has passed in Yogi Sarkar too. If the writers strike last year then this issue has also been included in the demands. After this, the Chief Minister had instructed to purchase smartphones and laptops to make the proceedings available to the Headlines on top priority.
The Revenue Council has completed the purchase of the smartphone. Although the procurement of laptop purchase is in progress.
Chairman of the Revenue Council Praveer Kumar said that the selected firm has started supplying the smartphone. There are about 28,000 writers in the state. Revenue inspectors also have to be given a smartphone.
The firm has said to give a smartphone this month. Time has been demanded for the delivery of smartphones from the Chief Minister. He said that there is a proposal to organize a big program in Lok Bhavana and offer a smartphone.
