Sharing liner service between the southern port of Iran Chabahar and India’s “Mumbai” “Kandla” and “Mundra” ports has been started.
According to the IRNA report, officers of Chabahar port located in southeastern Iran in Iran have said that in the first phase of liner service, the cargo ship of India has reached Shahid Exhibition port with 3700 container goods. The Ports of Iran and Balochistan and the Director General of Maritime Authority of Iran have said that the arrival of the first cargo vessel in the Shaheed Extravaganza port on Sunday has started the joint liner service between Chabahar port and three ports of India.
Shri Behruz Akti said that the Chahahar Shahid Bahtani port has the capacity to carry and load 8.5 million tons of annual cargo and anchor the capacity of one lakh tonne container capacity to Chabahar port. He said that since the inauguration of the Shaheed Extrusions port, so far, loading of cargo vessels has increased by 61%. He has hoped that with the help of all related departments, the movement of the cargo vessel will get more visible. Behruz Akti said that Iranian and foreign traders can bring their goods directly to Chabahar from India.
Be aware that Chabahar port is an important port located in the south of Iran, which is located in the northern part of Oman Sea.
