After the raids on the people of the Akhilesh’s dream project River Front scam, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is now scouting over Mayawati’s dream project. The ED raided the premises of seven contractors and officers in the capital in the monument scam involving BSP chief on Thursday and seized several documents. After the formation of Akhilesh Yadav’s government in the year 2012, the investigation of this scam had risen, but later the matter went to the cold shelter. An ED official said that in the year 2014, Vigilance had filed a case in Gomtinagar police station against misuse of government money. On this basis, the ED had also filed a case under the Money Laundering Act.
In fact, memorials were made in Lucknow and Noida at a cost of 2600 crores in Mayawati’s reign (2007-2012). Among them, statues of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, Kanshiram and Mayawati were also attached to the park.
It is alleged that the irregularities in the construction work resulted in a loss of Rs 111 crore 44 lakhs 35 thousand 066 rupees to the exchequer and the illegal profit to the public servants and the private persons. ED filed 19 FIRs in the FIR lodged here.
Sue was lodged against them
Among the accused, Nasimuddin Siddiqui, minister in BSP government, Babu Singh Kushwaha, former joint director and adviser to the mining department, Suhail Ahmad Farooqi, 15 others engineers of former MD CWC and construction corporation have been nominated.
It is known that Vigilance has also placed the stone suppliers, mining department and officers of LDA and other private people under the scrutiny on the basis of the Lokayukta report.
In Nasimuddin Congress, Kushwaha made his party
Out of the two BSP government ministers accused in this scam, Nasimuddin Siddiqui has been removed from Mayawati party and now he is in Congress. At the same time, Babu Singh Kushwaha went to BJP first and now he is the head of his party.
