The Islamic Republic of Iran welcomed the establishment of special financial transactions system between Iran and Europe by the Foreign Minister of Iran.
Javad Zarif tweeted on Thursday that we welcome this new system which has been waiting for months. Javad Zarif further wrote that we are ready for meaningful cooperation on the basis of mutual respect with Europe.
The Foreign Ministers of France, Germany and the UK, after the meeting of the EU Foreign Ministers in Bokhtar, announced that the Instrument of Support for Trade Transactions with Iran has been set up in support of the Trade Exchanges Instex.
The US has expressed anguish over the establishment of the financial system. In a statement, the US State Department said that Inks holds dangerous messages for the European Union. Meanwhile, Friedrich Mogury, in charge of the EU’s Foreign Policy, said that the establishment of Instx is an important step and it is a sign of Europe’s commitment to the nuclear deal.
Mogury said that the European Union will extend expansion with instix. He appealed to all countries of the European Union to actively cooperate in this context.
Mogury said that the EU will remain committed to it as long as Iran continues to implement the Nuclear Agreement.
Mogury said that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has so far confirmed in its 13 reports that Iran is following the nuclear deal.
