The Foreign Minister of India said that the fight against terrorism is not against any religion.
Sushma Swaraj raised the issue of terrorism in the meeting of the Foreign Minister of Islamic Cooperation Organization or Organization of OIC in Muslim countries at Abu Dhabi city of United Arab Emirates on Friday. The Indian Foreign Minister was invited as a guest in this meeting. He emphasized that the world is suffering in the problem of terrorism today and financial assistance to terror organizations should be stopped. Without naming Pakistan, he said that India is struggling for long time with foreign sponsored terrorism.

Sushma Swaraj said that the scope of terrorism is increasing and today terrorism and extremism are at a new level. He said that prevention and protection of terrorism should be stopped. The Indian Foreign Minister stressed the need to stop the funding of terrorist organizations. Sushma Swaraj described religion as a synonym of peace, and said that just as Islam means peace and no name in the 99 names of Allah is violence, in the same way every religion is for peace.
