Lok Sabha elections: The political summon of the world’s largest democracy has become shunned today. Election Commission announced the date for election for 17th Lok Sabha. The first election will be on April 11. The results will be declared on May 23. With this, Election Code of Conduct has come into effect in the country. Careful attention of board exam dates- EC

VVPAT machines will be used – EC
Election Commission also said that there are 90 million voters in this election, out of which 15 million 18-19 year old voters will vote for the first time. The big thing is that only VVPAT machines will be used in the election.
Election Commission said that there will be 10 lakh polling booths in the country. Last time there were 9 million polling stations. Loudspeakers will be stopped for playing 48 hours before voting. At the same time, loudspeakers have been banned from 10 am to 6 a.m.. Voters will get voter slip voting five days in advance. Voters will also be given the option of NOTA this time too.

The Commission has said that the CRPF jawans will be deployed in sensitive areas in the country. This time, a picture of candidates will also be placed on the EVM. Also, videography of the entire electoral process will also be done. GPS trekking technology will be used to know the movement of EVMs.
Candidates will have to give their social media account information- EC
Elections have said that candidates will also have to get information about their social media account. During this period, publicity on social media will also be monitored. Commission will also issue guideline for the use of social media. Strict action will be taken against the candidates and the party regarding paid news.
