Bhubaneswar: Orissa Police has issued alerts on Tuesday in connection with two ammunition tunnels and a BJP MLA, the death of his driver and the martyr of three security personnel in Chhattisgarh, in the districts related to that state. On April 11, in the first phase, the police got two ammunition tunnels in Gajapati district only 48 hours before the election of four Lok Sabha seats in Odisha and 28 Assembly constituencies.
Orissa’s General Director, BK Sharma, has issued consultation for all the Superintendents of the Superintendent to stay alert and suggested that candidates do not preach in Maoist-affected areas after the sunset. He also asked the leaders of political parties to approve the local police from their tour plan.
Odisha Police consulted a few minutes after the death of five people, including a MLA in the Naxalite attack in Dantewada of Chhattisgarh. Sharma said, “We have made necessary measures necessary for all the voters to provide necessary security.”
